Skyclad yoga massage retreat: Embrace Your Body, Free Your Spirit
Ron Stewart is a Certified Somatic Sex Educator, Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) and is currently Vice President of the Somatic Sex Educators Association of Canada (SSEA). Through his work, he wants to see the world change from a culture of silence about bodies, sex, and pleasure to one of honest dialogue, conversation, and personal empowerment. He regards Somatic Sex Education and our culture’s deeper authentic understanding of pleasure and creative erotic energy to be a key towards deep earth healing.
Since creating Skyclad in 2005, offering Skyclad (naked) men’s yoga and massage, Ron’s combined studies in Somatic Sex Education (2011) and Somatic Experiencing (2015) have refined his interest and desire toward the realm of sexual wellness through somatic sex coaching.
Ron has been performing and exploring movement innovation for 30 years. His professional career as one of Canada’s most prominent male contemporary dancers, directly influences his understanding of the body and his teaching of yoga and other somatic practices.
Regardless of how we identify sexually, we live in a culture which does not celebrate erotic diversity. From puberty, we are generally discouraged from exploring and increasing our self knowledge. For many of us there was very little discussion regarding sex. Many of us stumbled along, making it up as we go.
With distinguished guest facilitators, Ron creates an environment and opportunities to revisit with healthy curiosity our god given right to be erotic, playful and loving. Through these explorations we reclaim our loving relationships with ourselves, our bodies, our families and our communities.
Skyclad supports your personal inquiry in a safe, nurturing environment at our intimate and rural skyclad cottage on the Pacific Marine Circle Route near Cobble Hill.
